Medical Boundary Policy

The SilverLining Foundation Inc. is a housing-focused nonprofit organization that provides non-medical housing environments for seniors, adults, and individuals who may benefit from supportive living environments.

“The SilverLining Foundation Inc. is not licensed as a medical or assisted living provider.” 

The Foundation DOES NOT provide, supervise, coordinate, or assist with medical or personal care services, including but not limited to:

• Medication administration
• Medical treatments or therapies
• Clinical monitoring or health assessments
• Nursing services
• Personal care services
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Residents are solely responsible for arranging any medical or personal healthcare services through licensed providers of their choosing.

• Staff members, volunteers, and representatives of The SilverLining Foundation Inc. are strictly prohibited from performing or engaging in any activity that may be interpreted as medical, nursing, or clinical care.

• The Foundation may maintain partnerships with independent third-party organizations or service providers, but such providers operate separately and are not employees or agents of the Foundation.

• Any violation of this policy may result in appropriate corrective action in accordance with housing policies and applicable regulations.
